This toy is a generous 8 inches long or better and filled with enough catnip
to keep them interested. They come in assorted colors. My cats love to grab them, kick their back
legs into them and drag them around the house. With a puppy who likes
to chew cat toys, these hold up remarkably well to dog abuse. |

Many of you know Mary Anne Miller,
also known as "Hissy"
from The Cat Site. She has done a lot of cat rescue over the years,
and does the majority of it with no financial help from others. People
drop off cats at her door, and most of those are young, sick, feral, and most were
found on the streets. With her big heart, Mary Anne nurses them back
to health and cares for many of these babies for life. She adopts some
of them out to those that she can ensure will be able to handle their
special needs. She rarely comes across a cat that doesn't have special
needs.
To think of it, Mary Anne has selflessly offered her wisdom and advice to
people within The Cat Site for many
years. She has helped countless kitties, including my own.
Once in a while a rescuer needs a little help. Mary Anne's husband
Mike has gone thru a series of surgeries and will be laid up for quite some
time, if not for life. With Medicare like it is in this country, she is left with a
tremendous financial challenge. She still has a house full of rescue
cats, has her own pets to care for, and whatever left is going towards
medical treatment. She hasn't asked for help, but you can read between
the lines to see the problems she faces right now.
So this is where you can help Mary Anne, and receive a little something in return. I
